Senior Manager, Business Tax Services

KPMG is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice. As a key member of our team, you will provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and partnerships, leveraging your expertise in ASC 740 and corporate taxation.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to clients, including Fortune 100 companies and emerging businesses.
  • Participate in accounting for income taxes, including ASC 740.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide industry knowledge and experience, managing a portfolio of clients and acting as the first point of contact for internal and external clients.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, monitor teams of tax professionals and assistants, and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm.
  • Oversee risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets.
  • Advise clients and deliver high-quality tax service and advice.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum eight years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM with strong knowledge of ASC 740.
  • Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, and partnerships.
  • Prior experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams.
  • Excellent advisory, compliance, verbal, and written communication skills.
