The American Family Care Austin-William-Cannon team is seeking a skilled Radiologic and Medical Assistant to join our staff. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and diseases.

About the Role
  • Assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and diseases by performing radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Provide general medical care under the direction of a licensed provider to patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Greet patients, prepare them for procedures, and ensure they have removed all jewelry and metal objects.
  • Maintain a neat and clean working environment, ordering and stocking supplies as needed.

As a valued member of our team, you will also perform various administrative tasks, including processing images, reviewing quality control, and maintaining accurate records.

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Sciences and Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in Texas preferred.
  • Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
