Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Immunotherapy Department. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with specialists, and contribute to the advancement of our institutional mission.
Responsibilities- Assist physicians with patient evaluation, management, and treatment of various medical conditions.
- Provide direct medical/patient care to patients undergoing bone marrow transplant or Cellular Immunotherapy procedures.
- Work within a defined scope of practice and under the authority of supervising physician(s) or specific protocol(s).
- Collaborate with specialists to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Formulate treatment plans for medical conditions within scope of practice.
- Bachelor's degree at minimum; master's degree preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant program.
- Active FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and national certification by the appropriate accreditation body.
- Active BLS and ACLS (must be AHA approved).
- Experience in oncology or general internal medicine; previous BMT experience preferred.
