Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the safety of care delivery in the home setting, adhering to all relevant laws and policies.
- Deliver care according to the established care plan and RN directives.
- Identify changes in the patient's condition and communicate effectively with the RN supervisor.
- Provide comprehensive personal care, meal assistance, mobility support, light housekeeping, and companionship.
- Implement safety measures and infection control practices, utilizing appropriate protective equipment.
- Complete all required training and in-service sessions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Current CPR certification in accordance with American Heart Association standards.
- Valid CNA license in the State of Texas.
- HHAs should possess a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in home care is preferred.
