Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Professional to join our team at HiEmployment. As a Morning Pastry Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and baking breads, pastries, and pies to meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mixing, prepping, and baking doughs, batters, pastries, and quick breads
  • Preparing, plating, and plattering all desserts and pastries for day-of and next-day events
  • Keeping track of production and discard dates of all items with emphasis on product quality
  • Managing inventory pars of a la carte items and communicating clearly with the Pastry Chef and Executive Chef
Requirements
  • At least six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of basic baking techniques and methods, including the ability to roll a variety of croissants and danishes
  • Ability to read and follow recipes, measure ingredients properly, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, have a reliable form of transportation, and be dependable and reliable for shifts when scheduled
