We are currently seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves assisting with the installation and service of HVAC systems and products, adhering to manufacturer specifications and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work safely when performing installations and service of HVAC equipment.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures for the type of installation and service being performed.
  • Assist with the installation and service of HVAC related equipment accurately and efficiently according to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Premeasure jobs to identify proper materials required for scope of work.
  • Perform the installation of household appliances as needed.
  • Receive, verify, and load all equipment and materials needed for each job and maintain stock levels on truck.
  • Assist associates as directed by management.
  • Complete all required paperwork prior to the end of the shift.
  • Perform all readings on test instruments and understand the importance of these readings.
  • Follow national, state, and local mechanical, electrical, and plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Ensure office dispatcher/supervisor is aware of job status and any delays that may occur.
  • Maintain the company's vehicle and notify management when maintenance is required.
  • Perform work in a professional manner, ensuring customers are treated with respect, and report any issues or problems to manager immediately.
Requirements
  • Must be EPA 608 certified or willing to be certified within 90 days of employment.
  • Must be mechanically inclined and able to distinguish between different HVAC equipment.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and customer service skills.
  • Be an honest and dependable person willing to learn new tasks and be a team player.
  • Demonstrate solid problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with customers and co-workers.
  • Ability to work on-call and overtime hours required.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable MVR.
  • Follow rules and regulations as described in the company Handbook.
