Job Title: PRN CT/X-Ray Technologist

Health Images is seeking a skilled PRN CT/X-ray technologist to support our Southpark location. This position offers a competitive pay range of $42.48, with PRN differential available.

Job Summary:

The CT/X-Ray Technologist performs various diagnostic X-Ray procedures and CT examinations, adjusting equipment settings and positioning patients for optimal results. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface with patients to gather medical history and provide clear instructions on procedures.
  • Review patient charts for missed clinical information and screen patients for surgical implants, contrast allergies, and other relevant factors.
  • Obtain prior films/exams as needed and perform high-quality scans for submission to radiologists.
  • Attend to patient care before, during, and after exams, notifying relevant parties of any changes in patient condition.
  • Transfer images to other locations as needed and coordinate scan protocols with radiologists.
  • Maintain and inspect equipment, reporting any quality concerns or equipment failures.
  • Interface with lead technologists and center/area managers regarding departmental concerns.
Requirements:
  • Two plus years' experience in Computed Tomography (CT) and/or X-Ray.
  • Ability to educate patients on procedures and provide clear instructions.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a problem solver with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment and continuously meet company and customer expectations.
Education and Certifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • Registry in Computed Tomography (CT) and Radiography (R).
  • Current license from state medical board (if applicable) and CPR certification.
