Medication Technician/Caregiver

Job Summary:
Brookdale Diablo Lodge is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medication Technician/Caregiver to join our team. As a Medication Technician/Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications and providing exceptional care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor.
- Ensure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications.
- Communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
- Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification is required.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Must be able to work the NOC shift (10:00 PM to 6:30 AM).
