Housekeeping Attendant

Clean and maintain rooms to the highest standards, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our guests. Key responsibilities include:

• Thoroughly cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping rooms and bathrooms according to IHG standards and procedures.
• Cleaning rooms efficiently and effectively, with attention to detail.
• Stocking housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies and room amenities.
• Replenishing guest amenities in rooms as needed.
• Maintaining a clean and organized housekeeping storage area.
• Communicating maintenance concerns to the maintenance department.
• Transporting waste and trash to the proper disposal area.
• Turning in Lost and Found items to the front desk.
• Maintaining guest confidentiality.
• Greeting guests and responding to their requests or concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements include:

• Frequent standing, bending, walking, and moving around the hotel.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Physical strength and stamina to work extended periods.
• Availability to include weekends.
• Prioritization and time management skills.
