Soliant is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as a Clinical Fellow in a school setting. This exciting opportunity allows you to work in a dynamic educational environment and make a meaningful impact on the communication skills and overall development of students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students in a school environment, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques to address speech and language disorders, articulation, fluency, and pragmatic language skills.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine students' communication and language needs, and develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals to support their academic and social success.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational and social development, and participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings to provide input regarding students' speech and language needs.
- Document and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes, and stay up to date with current research, best practices, and professional development opportunities in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy skills, with knowledge of various communication disorders and treatment approaches.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, and other professionals.
