OVERVIEW

The Program Lead, under the guidance of the Regional Program Director or Assistant Director, plays a crucial role in overseeing the program, ensuring that client-focused care and case management are executed in a proficient, responsible, and ethical manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conducting client assessments during intake as necessary, fulfilling on-call responsibilities, and guaranteeing that Camelot-approved behavioral health therapeutic services are delivered to clients and their families. This includes, but is not limited to, providing coping strategies, behavior modification techniques, parenting support, and crisis intervention. The Lead will ensure effective collaboration with both internal and external behavioral health and medical providers.
  • Collaborating with Care Coordinators to ensure that the treatment teams for all assigned clients are working together to provide quality care. Ensuring that Care Plans and documentation align with Camelot policies, state licensing regulations, and COA accreditation standards.
  • Overseeing the completion of all clinical documentation within set time frames and addressing any deficiencies promptly; monitoring monthly and quarterly performance reports.
  • The Program Lead will supervise and assist Care Coordinators in closing care gaps (HEDIS) for clients with outstanding needs, tracking progress on a weekly basis.
  • Conducting weekly supervision sessions with Care Coordinators in accordance with contract specifications and COA requirements.
  • Facilitating Treatment Team meetings and reviewing case presentations for each assigned client as required. Participation in all quarterly director meetings and regional leadership gatherings is expected.
  • Providing support to team members to ensure optimal outcomes for all clients and families served by Camelot.
  • Contributing to the Performance Improvement Cycle, including data collection and utilization to enhance client and program services, adhering to the Performance and Quality Improvement Plan and other methods to maintain service integrity and excellence. Ensuring that PQI activities are completed accurately and promptly, including Peer and PQI audits, and participating in MCO evaluations.
  • Managing and assisting the leadership team in overseeing client census and productivity standards for Care Coordinators.
  • Assisting in program development, networking, and fostering collaboration across program areas.
  • Encouraging a collaborative team environment and striving for excellence in service delivery.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

•This position necessitates driving approximately a percentage of the time.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES

•Routine supervision of up to eight (8) assigned Care Coordinators.

•Ensures the completion of supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws, which may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; addressing complaints and resolving issues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

•A Bachelor's degree in a Human Service discipline from an accredited four-year institution and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the Mental Health field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

•Experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic, community-based treatment setting.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

•The Program Lead must possess a valid driver's license with automobile insurance in good standing and have access to reliable transportation at all times.

Language Proficiency

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Strong verbal and written communication skills with diverse groups of directors. Capable of delivering effective presentations.
  • Reasoning Skills
Ability to solve practical problems and navigate various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Proficient in interpreting a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Leadership Skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and collaborate with staff at all levels. Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
