Job Summary

The Housekeeping Assistant Supervisor is a key member of the Housekeeping team, responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Maintain Guest Rooms: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms to ensure they meet high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Supervise Housekeeping Staff: Lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities and providing excellent service to guests.
  • Coordinate Housekeeping Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure Compliance with Hotel Standards: Ensure that all housekeeping staff are aware of and comply with hotel standards and policies.
  • Communicate with Guests and Colleagues: Provide excellent customer service to guests, respond to their requests and concerns, and communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
