Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor and Delivery unit in San Jose, CA. This is a 13-week contract position offering a competitive hourly pay rate. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in labor and delivery and must hold a current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
  • Monitor fetal and maternal health, administer medications, and assist with labor procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Educate patients and families on postnatal care and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Requirements
  • Valid RN license.
  • BLS certification by AHA.
  • Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
