Key Responsibilities:

As a PEGA Developer, you will:

  • Design and implement technical solutions for importing and managing Customer Data within the Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) on Pega Cloud.
  • Oversee the development of data processes, focusing on Pega DataFlow and ETL pipelines to enhance Pega Marketing system functionalities.
  • Address complex challenges by adopting a comprehensive approach to identify effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with various functional teams and projects while working independently.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in loading Customer Data into Pega CDH on Pega Cloud, ensuring data quality and implementing necessary controls.
  • Experience in migrating existing ETL processes to a Pega-managed cloud service.
  • Ability to assess design options, refine methodologies, and execute optimizations.
  • Document best practices related to data models, data loads, and query performance.
  • Develop integration plans and collaborate with testing teams to incorporate these plans into the testing process.
  • Create custom integration components based on business requirements.
  • Conduct data archival processes and generate reports to provide insights into ETL execution metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and practices regarding solution security and integrity.
  • Engage with business leaders to comprehend data requirements and propose solutions that facilitate informed decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Pega Senior System Architect or Lead System Architect with extensive experience in developing solutions for Customer Decision Hub (CDH).
  • Certified Pega Decisioning Consultant (CPDC) with a strong background in Decisioning and technical solution ownership.
  • Experience in architecting and designing business applications utilizing Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks.
  • Technical oversight and implementation of Pegasystems solutions.
  • Quality assurance for Pega implementations and leading integration discussions with other applications.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with banking and financial industry standards.
  • Proficient in ETL tools and techniques, with knowledge of CI/CD practices.
  • Advanced SQL skills and a solid understanding of cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Pega 8.x, PostgresQL, and Cassandra.
  • Experience in creating automated data pipelines using Pega DataFlow and modern technology stacks.
  • Knowledge of PRPC architecture, application packaging, security, and Pega OOTB tools.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in mentoring junior team members.
