Position Overview

The Senior Agile Transformation Coach plays a crucial role in guiding Pinnacle Group, Inc.'s technical teams through a comprehensive agile transformation journey. This position involves collaborating with both emerging agile delivery teams and seasoned Agile Coaches to establish effective industry practices and scalable methodologies for agile product delivery. You will be instrumental in coaching teams to foster continuous improvement, ensuring transparency regarding agile transformation challenges and overall progress to stakeholders, while serving as a catalyst for a shift in agile mindset.

Key Responsibilities:


• Drive transformation by serving as a mentor for agile teams during Pinnacle Group, Inc.'s extensive agile transition.


• Collaborate with stakeholders, existing Agile Coaches, and functional leaders to develop and implement strategies for embracing agile methodologies.


• Engage in hands-on coaching activities for your teams, which may include:

o Advising leaders on structuring, mobilizing, and initiating agile teams,

o Influencing process execution by guiding product owners and mentoring team members,

o Promoting continuous process enhancement strategies to ensure efficient, effective, sustainable, and measurable delivery,

o Understanding client risk objectives to coach teams in minimizing risks through test automation, reducing technical debt, and enhancing quality.


• Analyze and report on patterns and anti-patterns within team dynamics:

o Identify successful patterns for reinforcement and areas for team development.


• Establish feedback mechanisms that promote trust, psychological safety, transparency, and customer insights.


• Design and facilitate workshops focused on the practical application of Lean-Agile values, principles, and practices.


• Partner with client organizations to cultivate sustainable Lean-Agile capabilities and processes.


• Mentor and coach junior colleagues in agile values and principles.

Qualifications:


• A mindset aligned with Scrum Core Values: openness, respect, focus, and commitment.


• Over 5 years of experience in an agile environment as a coach.


• More than 5 years of experience in an agile setting as a Product Owner or Scrum Master.


• At least 7 years of experience in an agile culture with a profound understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean Agile frameworks.


• Proven experience coaching multiple agile teams concurrently through a significant agile transformation.


• Experience with large-scale enterprise agile transformations, demonstrating familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other scaling frameworks, along with a deep understanding of agile values and principles.


• Demonstrated ability to facilitate collaborative sessions, manage customer expectations, and ensure alignment with enterprise goals and objectives.


• Proven experience in coaching practices that mitigate risk, with a solid understanding of compliance requirements.


• Knowledge of the technical enablers of agile delivery and their function within an agile organization (e.g., CICD, DevSecOps).


• Proficiency with agile tool suites such as Atlassian, Agility Health Radar, MS Teams, or similar agile management tools.


• Familiarity with agile testing and technical engineering practices (TDD, BDD) and DevSecOps tools.


• Certifications as a Scrum Master and Product Owner.


• Relevant coaching certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:


• A strong enthusiasm for learning new technologies and a commitment to personal growth through self-study, formal education, or on-the-job training.


• Active involvement in the agile community.
