About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians and other cardiovascular lab personnel in preparing the Cath Lab room for cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in clearing and preparing the Cath Lab room for procedures
  • Recognize and record cardiac pressure forms and thermodynamic parameters
  • Perform cardiac thermodynamic calculations and report any abnormal values to the physician
  • Review and update procedures logs immediately after each procedure
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech), Registered Radiographer (ARRT), Certified Cardiographic Technologist, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification
