Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Powell Electronics. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Account Management: Manage customer accounts, including order processing, tracking, and follow-up activities.
  • Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, material planning, and warehouse staff, to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues and find creative solutions.
  • Time Management: Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a distribution or supply chain environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications, especially Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP or ERPS Systems: Experience with SAP or ERPS systems, preferably in a distribution or supply chain environment.
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service experience, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Distribution or Supply Chain Experience: Experience in a distribution or supply chain environment, preferably with a focus on customer service and account management.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: Onsite working hours of Mon-Fri., full 40 hour workweek during regular business hours.
