Job Summary

Bright Horizons Children's Centers is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Kindergarten Prep Teacher. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with our curriculum and promote child development.
  • Guide a teaching team to develop classroom plans, goals, and lead hands-on activities based on observations of the children's interests and needs.
  • Communicate daily with parents, documenting and sharing important milestones in their child's day.
  • Ensure the classroom is safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required.
  • CDA or higher level of education required.
  • At least six months of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) required.
