We are in search of a proficient Forklift Operator with a minimum of 2 years of experience operating Hi/Lo-Reach Trucks and at least 1 year in a Material Handling role. The primary responsibility of this position is to operate a reach truck to access products stored at heights of 2-3 floors.
Key Responsibilities- Efficiently pick, pack, and select products for shipment.
- Handle the loading and unloading of freight.
- Maintain safety protocols while working in confined spaces.
- Lift and maneuver items weighing up to 50lbs.
- Utilize inventory management systems, including scan guns and manifests.
- Package various items, including screws, bolts, and fasteners.
- Proficient in Hi/Lo-Reach Truck operation.
- Experience in Material Handling.
- Familiarity with inventory management practices.
- Strong packing skills.
- Ability to work safely in tight spaces.
- Commitment to safety in the workplace.
This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 3 pm to 11:30 pm.
Work EnvironmentThe role requires the operator to safely navigate a reach truck in close quarters. Approximately 40-60% of the time will be spent operating the forklift, with the remainder dedicated to packing and loading/unloading tasks. The work setting is a modern and well-maintained warehouse.
