We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at American Machine Company. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify the condition of CNC machinery before setup and ensure it is in good working order.
  • Configure machinery to successfully execute the run as specified.
  • Develop and implement programming as required.
  • Monitor the run throughout the cycle, ensuring specifications are met.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance to prevent downtime.
  • Adhere to safety protocols at all times and report any concerns to management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role preferred, with a strong background in trade school education.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrammed instructions.
