Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Specialist to join our team at Soliant. As an SLP Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students, and providing direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' speech and language needs, and develop and implement effective treatment plans to address these needs.
  • IEP Development and Implementation: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement IEPs that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, using evidence-based practices and techniques to promote student progress and achievement.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student development and ensure that students receive comprehensive support services.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress and treatment plans, and ensure that all records are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid Texas state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience working with Elementary and Early Childhood students.
  • Skills: Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
