About the Role

Wilson Care and Rehab is seeking a skilled Contract Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our rehabilitation team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor residents' conditions and needs, administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Ensure narcotic policies and procedures are followed, and report any changes in residents' conditions.
  • Oversee nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff to ensure resident care plans are being followed.
  • Complete documentation, including admitting and discharging residents.
  • Report any bruises, skin tears, or neglect found during care.
Requirements
  • Kansas LPN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPPA regulations
  • Desire to work with the elderly
Work Schedule

This contract position works 12-hour shifts from 6am to 6pm. The schedule includes:

  • Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
  • 3-day weekends every other weekend
  • Never work more than 3 days in a row
  • 7 days off every 14 days
  • Average 2 hours of overtime every week
