About This Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team and support our mission to promote tourism and enhance local experiences in Palatka, Florida.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute various events, including festivals, conferences, concerts, and community celebrations.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events, attractions, and tourism in Palatka.
  • Community Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between Visit Palatka and the community, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged.

Salary Range: $48,000 - $56,000 per year.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Planning, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in event coordination, marketing, or related roles.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, proficiency in social media platforms and marketing tools, excellent verbal and written communication skills, creative thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
