About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cancer Center. As an Oncology Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to oncology and medical infusion patients, including initial nursing evaluations, development and implementation of care plans, education, and counseling.
  • Assist with daily telephone triage, coordinate and perform injections according to pathways, and coordinate and perform chemotherapy infusions according to ONS guidelines.
  • Assess psychosocial needs of patients and families, communicate with social service for follow-up, and provide ongoing patient management via telephone.
  • Collaborate with practice staff, NP/MD, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Massachusetts
  • BSN required
  • 3-5 years oncology nursing experience required
  • OCN preferred
