Overview:
As a Registered Nurse within the OBGYN department, you will operate under the guidance of the Clinical Coordinator and/or Nursing Unit Director. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering comprehensive nursing care tailored to the needs of patients in the designated unit or department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and assess total nursing care in alignment with the established patient care philosophy.
- Facilitate personalized, goal-oriented nursing care utilizing the nursing process and principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies.
- Ensure effective communication with other shifts to maintain continuity of care.
- Foster positive relationships with various departments and nursing units.
- Engage in all aspects of educational initiatives.

Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
- Associates degree in Nursing (Required)
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (Preferred)
Required Skills:

- Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment and take appropriate actions.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS within one year of hire
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within one year of hire
- NRP within one year of hire
Licenses:
- Valid licensure in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN) or multi-state/compact RN license.
