We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist Assistant to join our team at The Post At Mint Hill Llc. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and surgical technologists during operative procedures, maintaining a sterile field and ensuring the proper handling of instruments and supplies.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, including setting up equipment and supplies, and ensuring the availability of necessary resources.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure effective communication and coordination during procedures.
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of instruments and equipment, reporting any issues or concerns to the surgical technologist or supervisor.
- Participate in the preparation and maintenance of surgical supplies, including stocking and restocking as needed.
- Assist with the transportation of patients and equipment, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the surgical technologist or supervisor.
- Enrollment in a surgical technology program or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a sterile field during procedures.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
