Position Overview:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and insights into the planning, execution, and oversight of Battlespace Awareness and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) technologies.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of Navy geospatial capabilities and explore innovative technologies to formulate solutions that cater to evolving Fleet requirements.
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of technical documentation that supports Navy geospatial intelligence collection, processing, and dissemination systems.
  • Utilize operational expertise to analyze capability needs, system architecture, and the integration of new geospatial technology systems.
  • Assess system utilization, focusing on detection, estimation theories, and the implementation of geospatial processing using cutting-edge computer architectures.
  • Assist in the design, development, documentation, and testing of classified software products.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to plan, design, develop, and utilize software for geospatial information processing, presentation, manipulation, display, dissemination, and reporting.
  • Evaluate the satisfaction of end-product requirements and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Support the agile software development process by contributing as a product owner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with nine (9) years of relevant experience; Master's degree with seven (7) years; or PhD/JD with four (4) years of experience.
  • Possession of a TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or mathematics with a strong emphasis on geospatial processing, including digital geospatial processing and stochastic processes.
  • Ability to foster relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government representatives and supporting contractors; excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; capacity to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with PEO C4I and NAVWAR, along with prior experience in Naval Systems or Programs.
  • Relevant military or federal government experience, particularly as a Technical Advanced Communications Geospatial Analyst.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting and ESRI products is preferred.
  • INCOSE Certification is a plus.

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is between $120,001 and $160,000, reflecting the typical compensation based on experience and other relevant factors.
