Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our travel team at Intermountain Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. You will work under the supervision of local imaging coordinators or equivalent, with oversight from Imaging Services Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality CT scans using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes
  • Work independently and use ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgment to perform exams
  • Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam
  • Perform exams per department protocol and understand cross-sectional anatomy and anatomical positioning competency
  • Follow proper radiation safety protocol and demonstrate ability to critique own films
  • Complete studies within acceptable time limitations per department expectations without compromising patient care or the quality of the examination
  • Administer oral barium products or intravenous contrast material to patients as ordered by the physician and under radiologist or physician supervision
Requirements
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration, required
  • Current Radiology Technician license in state of practice (if working in Utah), required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare providers
  • One year of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital high-level trauma center, required
  • IV Certification, required
  • Computed Tomography (CT) registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), preferred
