We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners to join our team in Correctional Health. As an Advanced Provider, you will play a critical role in our mission to improve lives in Correctional Health and be a valued member of the full care team.
The Opportunity- Seeking Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners with at least one year of experience.
- Must be comfortable with medical management, review of labs, EKGs, as well as minor procedures including but not limited to suturing, incision and drainage, toenail removal, etc.
- Typical shifts are Monday to Friday and 10 hours in length.
- Facilities include adult and juvenile correctional centers.
- As best practice, providers are cross-credentialed at all locations.
Cois M. Byrd Detention Center - Banning, California
- Part of the Riverside University Health System - Community Health Centers, made up of 12 Health Centers throughout Riverside County.
- The facility is under the command of a Sheriff's Captain and administered under the direction of the Corrections Division Chief Deputy.
- Provides counseling, vocational, and education programs.
- A mid-sized city located in Riverside County offering a small-town atmosphere but still close to the hustle and bustle of major cities such as Los Angeles, San Diego, and Palm Springs.
- Just inland of several Southern California beaches allowing for easy beach trips year-round.
