Overview

LADGOV CORPORATION is seeking a part-time yoga instructor to join our team and develop classes for older Veterans enrolled in our Gerofit program. As a yoga professional, you will design and deliver safe and engaging classes that cater to the unique needs of this population.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead yoga classes tailored to the needs of older Veterans with chronic health conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of participant progress and report any concerns to Gerofit staff.
  • Evaluate and refine yoga practices to ensure they align with safety guidelines for older adults.
Qualifications
  • Certification as a yoga instructor with current and unrestricted status.
  • Experience teaching yoga to older adults (preferred).
  • Strong observational skills to identify participant concerns.

Estimated salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year.
