Job Title: Environmental Services Director

At Watercrest Senior Living, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Services Director to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and cleanliness of our communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the upkeep of our communities, including housekeeping and plant operation needs.
  • Inspect the front entrance daily to ensure visitors receive a great first impression.
  • Maintain a home and workplace that is safe and free of bacteria to reduce sickness and increase productivity.
  • Manage Maintenance IQ, including all community equipment, work orders, inspections, and regulatory items.
  • Manage a comprehensive and engaging employee onboarding process.
  • Manage the community housekeeping department under the direction of the Watercrest Housekeeping Handbook.
  • Aware of all occupied and unoccupied apartments to ensure a proactive and expeditious turn process.
  • Ensure all state regulations and company policies are followed.
  • Prepare for surveys and inspections.
  • Implement emergency procedures in the CEMP plan.
  • Manage emergency situations, including disasters, fire, and other emergencies.
  • Responsible for emergency and safety management associate training.
  • Responsible for fire safety program and equipment.
  • Review direct report associate time punches for accuracy and complete payroll process.
  • Manage recruitment and selection of staff personnel.
  • Respond in a timely manner to requests of residents, families, guests, and associates.
  • Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair.
  • Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician.
  • Perform routine maintenance on building systems.
  • Order supplies and materials needed for maintenance repairs and housekeeping needs.
