SuperScribe LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe - Orthopedics Clinic Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Scribe, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Orthopedic Providers in Alpharetta, GA, and gain valuable experience in clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accompany physicians into patient rooms to thoroughly document patients' electronic medical records
- Track and document laboratory and radiology studies
- Research past medical records, record medications given, responses to therapy, and physician consultations
- Perform other clerical duties as required
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Commit to 9+ months of availability to work at least 2-3 shifts weekly
- Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Alpharetta, GA
- Interested in pursuing a career in healthcare
- Experience with computers and typing
- Sharp, motivated, and reliable
- Some knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to type at 50+ words per minute
Working Conditions:
This position is in an office setting and will require full days availability (2-3 days/week, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm).
