Position: Field Service Technician
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: WEEKLY PAY
Salary Range: $25.00-$45.00 D.O.E
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, with potential overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and installation of compactors, balers, and recycling machinery.
- Experience with electrical schematics, hydraulic systems, and welding/fabrication is advantageous.
- Utilize a boom lift for the unloading of compactors and balers during scheduled installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards prior to vehicle operation, adhering to all company, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-and post-operation inspections of vehicles, ensuring all components are functioning correctly and reporting any safety concerns.
- Operate controls in line with company safety protocols to manage refuse container lifting and loading.
- Maintain a secure and safe job site.
- Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.
- Exhibit strong customer service skills to meet and exceed client expectations, acting professionally and courteously towards customers and colleagues.
- Demonstrate effective time management to ensure responsibilities are fulfilled efficiently and safely.
- Follow through on tasks and challenges as they arise, adhering to the work schedule.
- Comply with company policies and safety standards, avoiding unnecessary risks.
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of experience driving commercial vehicles preferred, or equivalent experience with large military vehicles.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to obtain a Class A CDL after hiring.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
