Role Overview:
The Senior Financial Accountant position at Marex Spectron entails the preparation of journal entries, financial statements, and comprehensive account analyses. Key responsibilities include scrutinizing general ledger data, preparing reconciliations, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily and month-end journal entries
- Conduct bank reconciliations
- Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts
- Manage accounts payable data entry
- Assist in the preparation of audit work papers and financial tasks
- Ensure compliance with regulations from SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC, and other exchanges
- Uphold the operational risk framework and company values
- Report policy violations and escalate risk incidents
Required Competencies, Skills, and Experience:

Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

- Excellent communication skills and experience in regulated environments
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate plus bonus
