Job Summary:

At UAB Medical West, we are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for performing a variety of patient exams utilizing the CT Scan machine to obtain images for diagnosis and treatment of diseases and pathologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans on patients to obtain diagnostic images
  • Position patients correctly and safely for exams
  • Operate CT Scan machine and adjust settings as needed
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient exams and images

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a Radiography program
  • Current Registry in good standing with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • Registry in CT preferred
  • American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire

Work Schedule:

10:00am-8:30pm
