Job Summary:

At Rocky Point Care Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their maximum potential and regain independence in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and functional abilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and goals
Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, activities, and education
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans

Requirements:

Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program
Current, active license as an Occupational Therapist
Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The Occupational Therapist must be able to lift, bend, and move patients as needed, and may be required to work in a variety of settings, including patient rooms, therapy areas, and outdoor spaces.
