Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver/Companion to join our team at Happier at Home Care in Doylestown, PA. As a Caregiver/Companion, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and live comfortably in their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities: Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with Mobility: Assist clients with mobility, including walking, transferring, and using assistive devices.
  • Prepare Meals and Snacks: Prepare meals and snacks for clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, doctors, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification a plus, but not required.
  • Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift heavy objects and stand, walk, bend, and kneel.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility in working one weekend a month.
