Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences, following established routes and procedures.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections, checking fluid levels and ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and organize daily loads, ensuring packages are properly secured and delivered on time.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, providing excellent customer service and communication with management.
  • Accurately operate a scanner and track delivery processes, ensuring accurate disposition of packages.
  • Consistently deliver entire routes in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
Requirements:
  • Be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
  • Pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Pass a DOT physical and have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Be able to safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds and up to 150 pounds with a hand truck.
  • Pass a FedEx Ground criminal background check.
  • Have a strong work ethic and get-it-done attitude.
