About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Music Therapist to join our team at LHC Group, a leading provider of post-acute care services. As a Music Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional music therapy services to patients in our inpatient setting, adhering to agency policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document services provided and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Music Therapy or related field.
  • 6 months of experience working with hospice patients or similar patient population.
  • One year of experience as a Music Therapist preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
