Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and implement treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Utilize appropriate assessment tools and procedures to perform comprehensive evaluations based on physician referrals.
- Review patient medical histories to inform treatment strategies.
- Set measurable goals and develop tailored treatment plans to enhance patient abilities.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and adjust as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with the treatment team, patients, and their families regarding progress and needs.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to discuss patient evaluations and treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and billing in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Basic Life Support or CPR certification as per state regulations.
- A minimum of one year of relevant professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injuries.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
