Join Medicorp, Inc as a Family Medicine Physician, where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive healthcare services. This position emphasizes direct patient care within a supportive environment.
Clinical Responsibilities:
As a Family Medicine Physician, you will:
1. Deliver direct patient care in a Federally-Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting.
2. Engage in medical student education during patient interactions.
3. Manage a diverse patient population, from prenatal to geriatric care.
4. Conduct inpatient rounds as the attending physician on the Family Medicine service.
Teaching and Mentorship:
Your role will also include:
1. Supervising residents in outpatient and inpatient settings.
2. Developing and overseeing educational curricula.
3. Delivering core lectures and participating in residency committee meetings.
4. Serving as an advisor and mentor to assigned residents.
5. Leading scholarly activities and participating in resident evaluation meetings.
Position Highlights:
This is a broad-based ambulatory and inpatient core faculty position at the FQHC Residency Practice. You will have the opportunity to join a well-established residency program with over 25 years of full accreditation. The collaborative work environment fosters professional growth and teamwork, with potential for academic appointments at prestigious medical schools.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will:
1. Have completed an accredited Family Medicine residency training program.
2. Be board certified or board eligible.
3. Be eligible to obtain a Pennsylvania Medical License.
