Job Summary:
The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring that guest accommodations are clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. This position demands a commitment to delivering exceptional service to all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms according to established standards.
- Prepare housekeeping carts with necessary supplies and linens.
- Remove waste and soiled linens from rooms and hallways.
- Ensure public areas and storage spaces are tidy and vacuumed as needed.
- Restock cleaning supplies and prepare for the next day’s duties.
- Report any missing items or maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Handle lost and found items in accordance with company policy.
- Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in a hotel or similar environment is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Work Environment:
This role may require flexible hours and the ability to stand for extended periods.
