We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Virginia Healthcare at Home. As a Traveling Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to establish and achieve patient goals.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing individualized plans of care.
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients of all age groups, including those with complex medical conditions, in the home setting.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to establish and achieve patient goals, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Supervise and provide clinical direction to home health aides and LPNs/LVNs, ensuring quality and continuity of services provided.
- Participate in on-call rotation and emergency call, providing timely and effective support to patients and colleagues.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a home health or hospice setting.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and priorities.
