Job Summary

Hudson Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prevent hospital-acquired infections by maintaining high standards of hand hygiene and aseptic technique.
  • Assist the operating surgeon in patient care and perform assigned duties under direct supervision.
  • Prepare for surgery within an acceptable timeframe and prioritize workload accordingly.
  • Utilize equipment properly and adhere to OR protocols to ensure a safe and efficient operating environment.
  • Maintain established hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program approved by CAAHEP or ABHES
  • BLS Certification by AHA
  • Surgical Technician Certification (CST) authorized by NBSTSA
