Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement HSE Programs: Assist in the development and implementation of HSE programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to employees on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Investigate Incidents: Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and develop corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders, including employees, management, and regulatory agencies, to ensure effective communication and coordination on HSE matters.
  • Monitor and Report: Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, including incident rates, injury frequencies, and environmental impact.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in a related field, such as safety, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a safety or environmental role, preferably in a manufacturing or transportation operation.
  • Certifications: OSHA certifications and/or other relevant safety certifications.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
