Job Overview

We are looking for several Nurse Practitioners to support healthcare initiatives across the nation. This role will be instrumental in assisting the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program. The selected candidates will represent Hamdan Resources and deliver essential medical services as outlined below.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in various meetings and task forces aimed at enhancing quality, outcomes, and communication regarding healthcare issues.
  • Ensure appropriate management of injuries and accurate diagnosis and treatment of diseases, while coordinating necessary tests and follow-up visits.
  • Stabilize, assess, and treat patients in emergency situations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Experience in Emergency and/or Primary Care medicine is essential.
Education and Certification Requirements:
  • Possession of a current and unrestricted license from any US State, District of Columbia, or US Territory to practice within the scope of healthcare.
  • Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
  • DEA License is required.
  • Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or equivalent certifications are desired.
Physical Requirements:
  • Work is typically conducted in an office environment.
  • Position may require prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 15 lbs.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English for effective communication.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Willingness to relocate for the duration of the contract is necessary.
  • Must pass or possess VA Public Trust Clearance.
