Role Summary:
- We are looking for a talented and driven Employment Law Attorney to enhance our practice. The successful candidate will possess experience in a variety of employment law matters, such as wrongful termination, discrimination, wage disputes, and workplace harassment. This position provides the chance to engage in significant and meaningful cases while supporting our firm's mission of promoting justice and equitable treatment in the workplace.
Core Responsibilities:
- Advocate for clients in employment law matters, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
- Offer expert legal counsel on employment-related issues, encompassing wrongful termination, discrimination, wage claims, and employment agreements.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct thorough legal research and remain informed about developments in employment law and pertinent case law.
- Facilitate negotiations and represent clients in administrative hearings and court proceedings.
- Collaborate with colleagues and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring effective communication throughout the legal process.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
- Licensed to practice law in California.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in employment law, with substantial litigation experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of California employment law and relevant federal regulations.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and writing abilities.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage complex cases and a diverse caseload.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
