Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wellness Professional to join our team at Life Time. As a key member of our fitness team, you will play a vital role in supporting our members in achieving their health and wellness goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized fitness programs that cater to the unique needs and goals of our members
  • Provide expert guidance and support to members during personal training sessions, ensuring a safe and effective workout experience
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in fitness and wellness, and apply this knowledge to enhance our members' experiences
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services and exceptional member satisfaction
  • Conduct fitness consultations to assess members' needs and create tailored plans to help them achieve their goals
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to member inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new programs and services that align with our members' needs and interests

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in personal training or a related field
  • Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification required
  • CPR and AED certification required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform aerobic activities for extended periods

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or a related field

Compensation

For the first 8 full weeks of employment, this position will pay an hourly wage of $16.00 and will be eligible for unit pay equivalent to $30 minus the applicable minimum wage for services. After 8 full weeks of employment, this position will be paid on a commission basis tied to performance goals.
