Crossing Guard

Job Summary:
As a Crossing Guard with the City of Somerville, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of students and pedestrians at school crossings. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires a strong commitment to public safety and a willingness to work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide essential public safety by ensuring safe student crossing at intersections along the routes to school
Wear a uniform and receive training to perform the duties of a Crossing Guard
Work in a team environment to maintain a safe and orderly school crossing

Requirements:
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening / physical prior to employment
Authorized to work in the U.S.

Work Schedule:
2 hours a day, 07:15am to 08:30am for the morning and 2:30pm to 3:15pm in the afternoon

Salary:
$24.00/per hour
