About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our team at Children's Dental Health. As a key member of our pediatric dental care team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expanded skills and knowledge in a variety of procedures, including restorations, extractions, and root canals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, and root canals.
  • Perform expanded functions, including taking and developing dental X-rays, managing patient records, and preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing dental instruments.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care, providing excellent customer service and patient care.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an EFDA.
  • Demonstrated desire to work in a pediatric setting.
  • Radiology certification.
